Food Assistance for Communities in Crisis

Providing Food When Families Need It Most

Conflict and displacement continue to leave families across Sudan facing serious food insecurity.

Hatim Altaee Foundation NFP provides emergency food assistance, family food packages, community meals, Ramadan feeding programs, and seasonal relief to vulnerable and displaced communities.

Our goal is simple: provide dependable food support while protecting the dignity of the people we serve.

October 2026 — Kordofan Community Feeding

During October 2026, Hatim Altaee Foundation carried out one of its largest sustained community-feeding efforts of the year in Kordofan.

8,000
People Served Daily

Approximately 8,000 people received meals each day during the October 2026 Kordofan operation.

25
Consecutive Days

Meal distribution continued every day for 25 consecutive days.

200,000
Meals Served

The program provided approximately 200,000 meal servings over the 25-day period.

This sustained effort provided dependable daily food support during a period of displacement, food shortages, and difficult humanitarian conditions.

Our Food Assistance Programs

HAF's food-relief work includes several forms of direct support.

Community Feeding

Large-scale kitchens and meal-distribution programs provide prepared meals to communities experiencing severe food insecurity.

Emergency Food Assistance

Food support is provided to families who have been displaced by conflict and arrive in camps or host communities with limited resources.

Family Food Packages

Food baskets are distributed to families during Ramadan and other periods of heightened need, supporting households across multiple regions.

Eid Relief

During Eid Al-Adha 2026, HAF provided sacrificial meat to displaced families, vulnerable households, and orphans.

More than 250 families received support across communities in Sennar State, Port Sudan, and Northern State.

Sustained Support, Not Just Emergency Response

Food insecurity does not end after one delivery.

HAF's work has progressed from emergency family food packages to Ramadan feeding, seasonal distributions, and sustained daily meal programs such as the October 2026 Kordofan operation.

This approach allows the foundation to respond to urgent needs while continuing support when communities remain vulnerable.

Working Together

HAF's food programs are made possible through the combined efforts of donors, partners, and volunteers.

Donors

Providing the funding needed for food, transportation, fuel, and program operations.

Partners

Helping organize kitchens, logistics, and food distribution.

Volunteers

Supporting relief operations directly within affected communities.
